Architecture
Version guides
These pages compare designs that were released or that the project’s own documents still treat as production architecture. A proposal is labeled as a proposal.
- → Aave from the V3 Pool to the V4 hub Aave
V3 remains the documented Pool architecture. V4 has been active on Ethereum since 30 March 2026, alongside continued V3 markets.
- → Uniswap v2, v3, and v4 Uniswap
All three versions are documented as live protocol surfaces. The v4 launch post is dated 31 January 2025. Core contracts are described as non-upgradeable.
- → From Maker vaults to Sky tokens MakerDAO / Sky
Maker core contracts in the dss repository remain the collateral ledger. Sky’s 2026 integrator docs describe the USDS, sUSDS, and SKY routes around that ledger.
- → Curve pool generations Curve Finance
Stableswap-NG and CryptoSwap are both current AMM families. crvUSD controller blueprints are versioned, and a market keeps the blueprint it was deployed with.
- → Lido exits and Dual Governance Lido
The withdrawal queue is the production exit path. Dual Governance is an additional control on DAO execution, not a replacement for the share-rate accounting.
